Repensando el Sistema Integral de Justicia Penal para Adolescentes: Intervención comunitaria

Resumen

Los sistemas penales de justicia para adolescentes, han sufrido cambios sustanciales a lo largo del tiempo, se ha transitado de un modelo tutelar y paternalista a otro de corte garantista; así también, consagran una serie de principios que rigen desde la prevención hasta la ejecución de las medidas impuestas. Lo anterior, reconociendo la importancia de la figura del adolescente como individuo en formación; razón por la cual, en México se han instaurado modelos que buscan dar
atención a los requerimientos de un nuevo sistema integral de justicia penal, sin embargo, éstos no reflejan resultados óptimos. Por lo cual es necesario repensarse y replantearse una modificación de carácter integral -política, legislativa, cultural- que tenga como eje la intervención comunitaria y la restauración.

Abstract
Criminal justice systems for adolescents have undergone substantial changes over time; they have moved from a guardian and paternalistic model to a guarantor court; as well as a series of principles that govern from prevention to execution of the measures imposed. The above, recognizing the importance of the figure of the adolescent as an individual in formation; This is the reason why in Mexico, models have been established that seek to give attention to the requirements of a new comprehensive criminal justice system, but these do not reflect optimal results. Therefore, it is necessary to rethink and rethink a comprehensive change -political, legislative, cultural- that is based on community intervention and restoration.
